Linwood Station

The train station at Maple Avenue was the center of the distribution of supplies coming to Linwood by rail. There was feed for Hagerthey's feed store, mail for the post office and coal for Clark's Coal Yard, all of which were located nearby. Many old maps show "Linwood Station" at this spot. The shed-style trolley stop replaced this structure in the 1930's. Seaview Avenue was also an important stop for trains bringing in supplies.
