The Keystone Masonic Lodge was organized in the 1880's. One of the founders was Dr. Job Somers who lived across the street and early meetings were held in his home. Dr. Somers was also one of the founders of the Atlantic County Medical Society. This photograph of the lodge dates from about 1914. Keystone was the site of meetings of the Linwood Borough Council for several years. The city even rented space on the ground floor for the city safe from 1904 to 1906.
