This1947 photograph shows property the city acquired to create a community recreation park. Mayor Charles Buckley suggested that the park be named to honor those who had served in the military and it became the All Wars Memorial Park. Since its dedication in 1948, the park has been a centerpiece in the lives of those who grow up in Linwood.
